To fully enable DNS, also specify one or more domain name servers with <strong>the</strong> ip name-server<br />

command.<br />

<strong>FTOS</strong> does not support sending DNS queries over a VLAN. DNS queries are sent out all<br />

o<strong>the</strong>r interfaces, including <strong>the</strong> Management port.<br />

To view current bindings, use <strong>the</strong> show hosts command.<br />

ip name-server Specify a DNS server.<br />
