TIME KEEPING
Time cards/sheets are the Company's way of making sure employees receive
the· correct amount of pay. All employees, exempt and non-exempt, must submit
a signed time card/sheet for every pay period. An employee's signature verifies
the time worked. -It is important that employees review all time sheets for errors
and omissions at the time presqnted to them. Records are to include:
For nonexempt employees: (1) Time reported to work; (2) Time reported out for
meal period; (3) Time reported back from meal period; and (4) Time reported off
work.
For exempt employees: (1) Days worked; and (2) Days absent.
Personal Days, leaves, and holidays must be entered on the time sheet fo r time
that would have been spent working. For non-exempt employees this includes
any partial days not worked.
Employees ·are asked to submit time records as indicated by their supervisors.
For payroll purposes, the workweek starts on Monday and ends on Sunday.
Falsifying a time sheet may result in disciplinary action, up to and including
termination.
PAYDAY
Employees will be paid biweekly for the period which ended on the previous
Sunday. Paychecks are ava ilable after the employee completes th eir shift,
beginning on Sunday after the end of the employee's work shift. When payday
is a holiday, employees normally will be paid on the last working day before the
holiday. If someone other than the .employee wishes to pick up the paycheck,
the company must have a written authorization from the employee allowing ' th~
other individual to pick up the paycheck.
Please review paychecks for errors. If a mistake is found, report it to the
superVisor immediately, who will assist in taking the steps necessary to correct
the error,
