GENEllAL INTRODUCTION<br />
This handbook is designed to summarize many <strong>of</strong> the company's personnel<br />
policies and to acquaint employees with the rules concerning employment with<br />
the company. The company's developing and chang ing business will require<br />
modifications <strong>of</strong> these policies from time to time. The company retains the right,<br />
in its sale and absolute discretion, to make decisions involving employment as<br />
needed and reserves the right to modify, rescind, delete or add to the provisions<br />
<strong>of</strong> this handbook, with the exception <strong>of</strong> the employment~at~w i ll provisions, which<br />
may be mqdified only as stated below. The company will attempt to provide<br />
notification <strong>of</strong> any cl1anges as th ey occur.<br />
The company cer1ainly hopes that it and every employee will find the<br />
employment relationship satisfying and rewarding. At the same time, it<br />
recognizes that relationships' are not always mutually satisfactory. TO PROTECT<br />
BOTH PARTIES' RIGHTS, IT SHOULD BE REMEMBERED THAT THE<br />
EMPLOYMENT RELATIONSHIP IS TERMINABLE AT WILL, AT THE OPTION<br />
OF ANY EMPLOYEE OR THE EMPLOYER. Moreover, no one in the<br />
organization, other than the President <strong>of</strong> the Company, has the authority or legal<br />
ability to modify the at-will nature-af the employment relationship. The President<br />
may do so on ly if it is done specifically in a written agreement that is signed by<br />
both the President and the employee. This represents an integrated agreement<br />
with respect to the at-will nature <strong>of</strong> the employment relationship .<br />
