scheduled to work 35 or more hours in a week); employees who have not
completed at least three months of continuous employment; part-time
employees; and on-call employees are entirely ineligible to participate in the
Personal Day plan or to earn any Personal Day pay.
(A) Amount of Benefits
The amount of an employee's Personal Day accrual will depend on the
employee's regularly scheduled work hours and on whether the employee is an
hourly or exempt employee. Overtime hours are not considered regularly
scheduled hours for any classification of employee. Neitl1er exempt nor hourly
employees earn benefits during any period of a leave of absence, whether the
leave is paid or unpaid. The amount of benefits will be determined on the benefit
schedules described below.
Hourly Employees
Hourly employees do not begin to earn or accrue any Personal Day time until
they complete three continuous months of service. Upon completion of lhe three
continuous months of service, full-time employees win earn benefits based on the
following table and these amounts will be accrued every two weeks (each pay
period) :

Exempt Employees
