GRATUITIES<br />
In order to maintain a high standard <strong>of</strong> integrity, employees are not permitted to<br />
accept gratuities from customers, visitors or vendors.<br />
MEAL PERIODS<br />
Each supervisor sha ll schedule an uncompensated meal period for each nonexempt<br />
employee. The employee shall be advised <strong>of</strong> the scheduled meal pe riod.<br />
Employees must note on their time sheet the tim e they left for their meal periods<br />
and the time they return. Employees should be punctual.<br />
BREAKS<br />
Breaks will be coordinated th roug h an employee's supervisor; or, in th e case <strong>of</strong><br />
drivers, by dispatch.<br />
CONTACT WITH THE COMPANY<br />
It is important to our clients that we are at our appointed job siles at the correct<br />
times. Our clients and their riders rely on us. Thus it is essentiallhat Ihe<br />
company be informed when ,an employee will not be in the scheduled place at<br />
the scheduled time during the workday. Should an employee find th at s/he<br />
cannot be at a scheduled place at the scheduled time it is the employee's<br />
obligation to report this to the supelvisor.<br />
ACCESS TO PERSONNEL FILES<br />
Upon request, employees may inspect their own personnel files at a mutually<br />
-agreeable time on company premises in the-presence <strong>of</strong> a company <strong>of</strong>ficial. An<br />
employee will be permitted to see allY record s regarding their qualifications for<br />
employment, promotion or wage increases, or discipline. Exceptions include<br />
records regarding criminal investigation and any letters <strong>of</strong> reference maintained<br />
by the company. An employee will be allowed to have a copy <strong>of</strong> any document<br />
relating to employment that the employee fl as signed.<br />
