Any employee who takes time off under this policy must utilize any existing
Personal Days fo r the absence, If the employee does not have any Personal
Days available, or does not have enough Personal Days to cover the time taken
off, the time off wi ll be taken without pay if the employee is nonexempt, or if the
employee is exempt and takes a full day off it is wilhout pay, The salary of an
exempt employee will not be affected if the employee misses a portion of a day
of work under this po licy,
An employee who takes time off under this policy must provide documentatioh
from the child's school to sllbstanliate the lact Ihat Ihe employee participated in a
school activity. The documentation must verify that the employee participated in
the activity on a specific date and at a particular time.
