22.05 MINIMUM PAY VALUE<br />
Regular Operators signing the vacation relief board are guaranteed a<br />
minimum <strong>of</strong> seven (7) hours pay daily at their prevailing rates <strong>of</strong> pay for<br />
each regular day <strong>of</strong> work and forty (40) hours pay for each regular work<br />
week completed, provided that such operators report for work at the time<br />
or times assigned to them.<br />
Operators must have a two (2) week pay period minimum weekly run<br />
value <strong>of</strong> 80 hours pay at straight time.<br />
New Operators for the first year must have a two (2) week pay period<br />
minimum value <strong>of</strong> seventy (70) hours pay at straight time.<br />
22.06 PAY VALUE<br />
The pay value shall include all work and allowances as outlined below. In<br />
cases where the sum <strong>of</strong> all work and allowances for the operator is less<br />
than the minimum, the operator shall be paid the minimum pay value as<br />
per 22.05. All operators with work and allowances equal to or greater than<br />
the minimum shall be paid the sum <strong>of</strong> all work and allowances.<br />
The maximum rate <strong>of</strong> pay to apply to any given hour <strong>of</strong> work performed<br />
under the benefits <strong>of</strong> this Article shall be one and one-half (1 i/2) times the<br />
operator's rate <strong>of</strong> pay, but daily spread premium will not be <strong>of</strong>fset against<br />
weekly overtime premium.<br />
Overtime allowance shall be applied to work performed after eight (8)<br />
hours daily, or after forty (40) hours per week, at the rate <strong>of</strong> time and one<br />
half (11/2) straight time.<br />
Spread allowance shall be applied to work performed after the 10th hour<br />
at the rate <strong>of</strong> time and one-half (11/2) straight time.<br />
Travel allowance shall be applied to all two (2) piece runs where the relief<br />
points in the middle <strong>of</strong> the run are greater than ten (10) minutes apart on<br />
average based on scheduled running time or an estimate there<strong>of</strong>. Travel<br />
allowance shall be paid at the rate <strong>of</strong> three-quarters (3/4) straight time up to<br />
a maximum <strong>of</strong> thirty (30) minutes.<br />
A shift premium <strong>of</strong> fifty five cents ($0.55) per hour will be paid on all<br />
scheduled runs finishing at 11:01 p.m. or later.<br />
Work in excess <strong>of</strong> eight (8) hours at Sunday premium rates shall be paid<br />
for at the rate <strong>of</strong> time and one-half (11/2) straight time, but Sunday premium<br />
