The longer travel distance for Pickup and Drop<strong>of</strong>f buses to/from the MTC,<br />
has increased size <strong>of</strong> the runs to which these a re attached.<br />
That notwithstanding, the <strong>City</strong> (HSR) agrees to change the overtime premium on<br />
runs on the board from time and one-half to time and three-quarters. All other<br />
aspects <strong>of</strong> the agreement remain in effect. The <strong>Union</strong> agrees to take no further<br />
action in regards to the Barton arbitration for the duration <strong>of</strong> this letter.<br />
This letter is without precedence or prejudice and becomes null and void when all<br />
runs on the board are compliant or until the next Collective Agreement renewal,<br />
whichever comes first.<br />
LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING- JOINT JOB EVALUATION COMMITTEE<br />
The <strong>City</strong> (HSR) and <strong>ATU</strong> <strong>107</strong> Joint Job Evaluation Committee shall implement<br />
the attached Joint Job Evaluation Plan. All jobs within the <strong>Union</strong> shall be rated,<br />
with said ratings applying from the date job questionnaires are signed <strong>of</strong>f by the<br />
Director <strong>of</strong> <strong>Transit</strong>, or designate, following completion and submission <strong>of</strong> a Job<br />
Evaluation Questionnaire by the Employee or group <strong>of</strong> Employees.<br />
LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING- INSPECTOR GUIDELINES<br />
The following guidelines will be used for the allocation <strong>of</strong> overtime to Inspectors<br />
working their days <strong>of</strong>f:<br />
(1) Inspectors requesting to work overtime will have an opportunity to sign a<br />
volunteer list for the six week board period at the same time the Sign-up is<br />
conducted to select regular work shifts. This permits Inspectors to sign as<br />
volunteers in order <strong>of</strong> seniority.<br />
(2) Inspectors may sign as a volunteer for additional days at any time during<br />
the six week board providing they sign three days prior to the date<br />
indicated as available to work overtime. Inspectors siqning in this manner<br />
will not be given priority based on seniority over any other names already<br />
signed.<br />
(3) If an Inspector works his/her first day <strong>of</strong>f as a volunteer and is the first<br />
name to work overtime on his/her second day <strong>of</strong>f, the available overtime<br />
will go to the next signed name.<br />
(4) Any Inspector working his/her day <strong>of</strong>f as a volunteer will be compensated<br />
as per the Collective Agreement. Lieu days will be granted at a mutually<br />
agreed time.<br />
(5) If reasonable attempts are made to contact an Inspector to work overtime<br />
and it is not possible to contact the Inspector, then the next signed<br />
