ARTICLE 31 - UNIFORMS<br />
OPERATORS AND INSPECTORS<br />
31.01 The <strong>City</strong> (HSR) agrees that it is its intention to keep all uniformed<br />
Employees neatly and comfortably outfitted in uniform clothing and<br />
supplied with the necessary accessories as and when applicable.<br />
31.02 The uniform clothing <strong>of</strong> prescribed design shall consist <strong>of</strong>:<br />

Summer hat<br />
One (1) parka every three (3) years<br />
One (1) spring jacket every two (2) years<br />
Two (2) pairs <strong>of</strong> pants every year or as required<br />
One (1) winter hat every three (3) years<br />
Two (2) pairs <strong>of</strong> shorts every two (2) years<br />
Six (6) shirts every two (2) years<br />
Long sleeved cardigan every two (2) years<br />
Ties - optional<br />
Tunics - optional<br />
Employees required to wear a turban for religious reasons will be paid an<br />
annual allowance <strong>of</strong> fifty-three dollars ($53.00).<br />
Note: All uniforms should be gender specific.<br />
31.03 The uniform clothing as out lined in Article 31.02, shall be issued to each<br />
uniformed Employee entering the service <strong>of</strong> the <strong>City</strong> (HSR) over a period<br />
<strong>of</strong> twelve (12) months.<br />
31.04 It is agreed that should a uniformed Employee leave the employment <strong>of</strong><br />
the <strong>City</strong> (HSR), all such uniform clothing and accessories must be<br />
returned to the <strong>City</strong> (HSR) prior to pay-<strong>of</strong>f.<br />
31.05 It is agreed that the dress code as outlined in the Manual <strong>of</strong> Operating<br />
Instructions will be observed by all operators.<br />
31.06 A uniform cleaning and black footwear, deemed appropriate by the<br />
Employer, allowance <strong>of</strong> one hundred and twenty ($120.00) will be paid on<br />
the twenty-fourth (24th) pay each year to each uniformed Employee<br />
provided he/she would have worked for the <strong>City</strong> (HSR) at least nine (9)<br />
months in the previous twelve (12) months. This allowance will be pro-<br />
