This species was placed by Masters at the end of his monograph,
among a number of species of doubtful relationship. Bracts were
lacking and the operculum evidently was in unsatisfactory condition
in the type specimen. This specimen is identical, however, with
recently collected material, from which the above diagnosis has
been drawn.
