CS600 Software Installation
• Check the radio button for “Status bar on top” or make sure that
button is checked.
This button give Windows frame control over basic functions
(minimizing, maximizing, and exiting) and prevents the operator
from exiting the CS600 application by any means other than the
program exit function. Abnormal termination of the program can
cause software problems.
• Check the appropriate metric units for the customer application
(typically centimeters).
• Check the “Administrator use only” box if the customer wants the
use of this program restricted to persons that can log in to a
Windows XP administrator account.
3. Select the Transport tab and set the following parameters:
• Type
• Ethernet-controlled web
For a VX5000 (Miyakoshi) or VT3000 (Matte) system. This
selection enables CS600 control of web speed and dryer
activation.
• Mail table
Selects no CS600 control over transport functions. All speed
and dryer control must be done using the transport control
panel.
• None
Only for test purposes or to use the software as an emulator
with limited functionality.
• Maximum allowed transport speed
Enter 500 for a system with DT90 print stations. This value is feet
per minute (500 = 167 meters per minute). This is the maximum
speed for the DH90 printhead at 300x600 resolution.
Enter 328 for a system with DT92 print stations. This value is feet
per minute (328 = 100 meters per minute). This is the maximum
speed for the DH92 printhead at 300x300x4 resolution.
• Units
Automatic uses the current XP settings.
English converts and displays all values in Standard
measurements.
Metric converts and displays all values in International System
units.
