1.5 Assumptions<br />
The Project Consultants identified specific, operating assumptions that<br />
would facilitate the qualitative conduct of the Consolidation Feasibility<br />
Study for the <strong>School</strong> District of Bruce, Ladysmith-Hawkins <strong>School</strong> District,<br />
and Weyerhaeuser Area <strong>School</strong> District. As a precursor to actually<br />
gathering and analyzing comprehensive data, drawing conclusions,<br />
weighing alternatives, and tendering recommendations, the Project<br />
Consultants identified the following operating assumptions:<br />
The <strong>School</strong> District of Bruce, Ladysmith-Hawkins <strong>School</strong> District, and<br />
Weyerhaeuser Area <strong>School</strong> District are small critical student mass<br />
school districts—and will continue to be so—by State of Wisconsin<br />
standards.<br />
