Table 4b-B reports the <strong>School</strong> District of Bruce’s 2007-08 resident students<br />
enrolled in non-public and home school settings. The <strong>School</strong> District of<br />
Bruce’s resident students attending non-public schools in 2007-08 totaled 9<br />
students. Those students were attending Our Lady of Sorrows <strong>School</strong>, a<br />
K-8 elementary school in Ladysmith.<br />
During the 2007-08 school year, the <strong>School</strong> District of Bruce reported 10<br />
resident students were delivered alternative programs and services in their<br />
homes (home schooling).<br />

Ladysmith-Hawkins <strong>School</strong> District’s resident students attending non-public<br />
school in 2007-08 numbered 121 students. Ninety-nine (99) of those<br />
students attended Our Lady of Sorrows <strong>School</strong>, a K-8 school located in<br />
Ladysmith, while 22 students attended New Hope Christian Academy, a K-<br />
12 school situated in Ladysmith. (It is to be noted that the vast majority of<br />
Our Lady of Sorrows <strong>School</strong>’s students matriculate to Ladysmith-Hawkins<br />
<strong>School</strong> District upon their completion of grade 8 programming).<br />
