Advisor Type Control
Description/Source Information
Indicates whether faculty attribute checking has been
enabled.
If Active is displayed in this field, the system will perform
faculty type checking to determine whether the faculty
member can enter grades via the Electronic Gradebook.
If Not Active is displayed in this field, the system will not
perform faculty type checking and the faculty member will
not be able to enter grades via the Electronic Gradebook.
Indicates whether advisor type checking has been enabled.
If Active is displayed in this field, the system will perform
advisor type checking to determine whether the advisor can
display grades via the Electronic Gradebook.
If Not Active is displayed in this field, the system will not
perform advisor type checking.

Module Privileges
Indicates whether Value-Based Security (VBS) is installed
and active.
The installation of VBS is specified on GTVSDAX for
internal code VBSINSTALL, internal group VBS.
Indicates whether a profile record exists for the user on the
Value-Based Security User Profile Form (GOAVUSR).
Indicates to which, if any, access groups the user has been
assigned on the Value-Based Security Access Group
Maintenance Form (GOASEGC).
Indicates what for which modules the user has security
privileges.

Compliance
Indicates whether the user can access student transcripts.
Indicates whether the user can enter grades.
Indicates whether the user can display grades
Indicates whether the user can view and run degree
evaluations (compliances).
