Description
If you want the Name field to be displayed in the Student
Information section, enter TRUE in the External Code field
for the NAMEWTRAN internal code.
If you want all advisors to be able to access any student’s
transcripts, enter Y in the External Code field for the
ALLADVR internal group.
If you want all faculty members to be able to access any
student’s transcripts, enter Y in the External Code field for
the ALLFAC internal group.
If you are using value-based security instead of all-advisor
and/or -faculty control, take the following actions:
• Make sure that the CHECKORDER internal group
represents the priority you want the system to use.
• Enter Y in the External Code field for the following
internal codes:
• ADVRPIN
• FACPIN
• ADVRTYPE
• FACFATT
If you are using value-based security, for the TRANSCRIPT
process, take the following actions.
• If you want advisors to be able to access academic
transcripts on the Web, associate advisor types with the A
(Advisor) role.
• If you want faculty members to be able to access academic
transcripts on the Web, associate faculty member attribute
codes with the F (Faculty) role.
For an assigned advisor to be able to access a student’s
academic transcript on the Web, be sure to use an advisor
type that has been associated with the advisor role on
SOAFAPC.
For a faculty member to be able to access a student’s
academic transcript on the Web, be sure to assign, in the
Faculty Attribute Block, a faculty member attribute code
that has been associated with the faculty role on SOAFAPC.
