a. Remove the patients cloth<strong>in</strong>g.<br />

b. Drench his/her sk<strong>in</strong> and body with water.<br />

c. Dry the patient and wrap him/her <strong>in</strong> a clean blanket.<br />

2. If the patient has poison <strong>in</strong> the eye, wash the eye immediately and as gently as<br />

possible.<br />

a. Hold the eyelids open and wash the eyes with a gentle stream of runn<strong>in</strong>g water<br />

for 15 m<strong>in</strong>utes or more.<br />

b. Do not use chemicals <strong>in</strong> the wash water.<br />

3. If the patient has <strong>in</strong>haled poison, immediately move him/her to fresh air.<br />

a. Loosen all his/her tight cloth<strong>in</strong>g, prevent chill<strong>in</strong>g.<br />

b. Apply artificial respiration if breath<strong>in</strong>g stops or is irregular.<br />

c. Do not give/her alcohol <strong>in</strong> any form.<br />

G. Proper Storage and Disposal of Pesticides<br />

A. Store pesticides <strong>in</strong> their orig<strong>in</strong>al conta<strong>in</strong>ers and keep them <strong>in</strong> safe, dry, locked,<br />

and well-ventilated area.<br />

B. They must be sealed, labeled correctly, and kept out of the reach of children and<br />

animals.<br />
