continued his musical education in 1999
at the Herbert von Karajan Academy of the
Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra under the
guidance of Martin Kretzer. In 2004 Thomas
acquired his soloist diploma at the Academy
of Music in Basel, Switzerland under Professor
Klaus Schuhwerk. Since the 2001/2002
Season he is solo trumpeter of the Radio
Symphony Orchestra Stuttgart of the SWR,
being led by Sir Roger Norrington. Thomas is
very much in demand as soloist and chamber
musician at numerous German music
festivals like Mosel Festwochen, Festival
“Mitte Europa”, Brandenburg Musikfestival,
Schleswig Holstein Musikfestival … As soloist
Thomas has already performed with the
Oldenburg State Theatre, the Nuremberg
Symphony, the Kaiserslautern Symphony
Orchestra of the SWR and the Aachen State
Theatre.

Christian Immler je petje študiral pod
mentorstvom Rudolfa Piernayja na londonski
akademiji za glasbo in gledališče
Guildhall. Leta 2001 je zmagal na mednarodnem
tekmovanju Nadie in Lili Boulanger
v Parizu in odtlej kot solist sodeloval
s svetovno znanimi orkestri in skladatelji.
Med njegovimi nedavnimi koncertnimi
vrhunci so Bachova Maša v b-molu pod
Marcom Minkowskim, Pasijon po Janezu
s Collegium Vocale Gent pod Philippom
Herreweghejem, vloga Pharnacesa v
Zemlinskyjevem Kralju Kandualesu v
znameniti amsterdamski dvorani Concergebouw,
Weillov Berlinski rekvijem na
festivalu v Lucernu, Mahlerjeve skladbe z
Orchestre des Pays Savoie, Telemannove
kantate z Andrewom Parrottom, Rossinijeva
Mala slovesna maša na festivalu
v Vancouvru, Haydnov oratorij Letni časi
z Orchestre de Picardie ter Bachov Pasijon
po Mateju in Fauréjev Rekvijem z
orkestrom Gulbenkian pod Michelom
Corbozom. Odlično sprejeti so bili njegovi
recitali v slovitih dvoranah kot so
Wigmore in Kraljeva festivalna dvorana
v Londonu, newyorška dvorana Frick
Collection in pariški Salon d’Honneur. V
njegovi diskografiji najdemo Stölzlove
kantate, Continental Britons, Bernsteinovo
simfonijo Kaddish ter Albenizovo
opero Henry Clifford s Simfoničnim orkestrom
iz Madrida, ki so jih kritiki po vsem
svetu navdušeno sprejeli.
Christian Immler trained at the Guildhall
School of Music and Drama in London with
Rudolf Piernay, won the International Nadia
et Lili Boulanger Competition in Paris in
2001 and has since worked as a soloist with
Major orchestras and conductors all over
the world. Recent concert highlights have
included Bach’s B Minor Mass with Marc
Minkowski, the St. John Passion for Collegium
Vocale Gent, conducted by Philippe
Herreweghe, Pharnaces in Der König Kandaules
by Zemlinsky at the Concertgebouw
in Amsterdam, Weill’s Berliner Requiem at
the Lucerne Festival, Mahler Songs with the
Orchestre des Pays de Savoie, Telemann
cantatas with Andrew Parrott, Rossini’s
Petite Messe Solennelle during the Vancouver
Festival, Haydn’s The Seasons with
the Orchestre de Picardie, Bach’s St. Matthew
Passion and the Fauré Requiem with
the Gulbenkian Orchestra conducted by
Michel Corboz. Christian is an experienced
recitalist, having already made his debut
at the Wigmore Hall and the Royal Festival
Hall in London, the Frick Collection in New
York and the Salon d’Honneur in Paris. His
recordings include cantatas by Stölzel, Continental
Britons and Kaddish on Nimbus and
Albeniz’ Henry Clifford with the Orquesta
Sinfonica de Madrid for Decca, all released
to wide critical acclaim.
