Geospatial Technology Certificate<br />
Certificate (CRT.GIS)<br />
The certificate program provides training in geospatial<br />
technologies to individuals who are interested in obtaining<br />
employment or enhancing their workplace skills within the<br />
field of geospatial technology.<br />
Graduates of this program should be able to:<br />
Demonstrate an understanding of geographic<br />
information systems and how they can be used to<br />
manage and analyze spatial information;<br />
Demonstrate the principle of data acquisition and<br />
management with the global positioning system;<br />
Demonstrate an understanding of the principles of<br />
remote sensing and image processing;<br />
Discuss the value and applicability of geospatial<br />
technology in the real world.<br />
