Geospatial Technology Certificate
Certificate (CRT.GIS)
The certificate program provides training in geospatial
technologies to individuals who are interested in obtaining
employment or enhancing their workplace skills within the
field of geospatial technology.
Graduates of this program should be able to:
Demonstrate an understanding of geographic
information systems and how they can be used to
manage and analyze spatial information;
Demonstrate the principle of data acquisition and
management with the global positioning system;
Demonstrate an understanding of the principles of
remote sensing and image processing;
Discuss the value and applicability of geospatial
technology in the real world.
