These courses enable students to complete a<br />
series of projects supervised by a faculty<br />
member or to complete an internship with a<br />
company or government agency. Both options<br />
provide experience in using GIS, GPS, and<br />
remote sensing technologies together to solve<br />
a variety of problems in areas such as<br />
mapping, marketing, environmental studies,<br />
town and regional planning, and facility<br />
management. Students use GIS, GPS, and<br />
image processing software to complete<br />

care to include the current flow of the acute<br />
care medical record. It introduces the allied<br />
health professions and the organizational<br />
structure of the medical staff and its<br />
composite members. It focuses on an<br />
overview of payer organizations including, but<br />
not limited to, managed care and capitation;<br />
the health information management<br />
profession’s history; current structure and<br />
