This program prepares students for transfer into
baccalaureate programs leading to careers in fields such
as industrial chemist, pharmaceutical chemist, medicine,
pharmacy, and environmental technology.
Graduates of this program should be able to:
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of chemistry by
analyzing information and solving problems.
Have the skills required to work safely and effectively
in a scientific laboratory.
Discuss areas related to chemistry such as ethics,
information technology, intellectual property and
regulatory compliance.
Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively
both verbally and in writing.
