They arealways armed, graspinggreatsword or boulder ineach of their hands. They wear magic halfplatearmor. Sometimesa hecatoncheires isarmed with one or moremagic weapons, as well. From their birth, they were outcast and sealedaway by the demiurge that produced them. Otherdeities who required their insane martial abilities totake down rival deities have released them from time totime. Each time they were released, an old pantheonfell. Few creatures can stand up to a hecatoncheires incombat, not even the gods.CombatHundred-handed ones rely on their hundred limbs toquickly dispatch foes under a flurry of blows or boulders.Superior Multiweapon Fighting (Ex): A hecatoncheiresfights with a greatsword or a boulder in eachhand. The hecatoncheires does not suffer an attack ordamage penalty for attacking with one hundredweapons. However, the press of limbs prevents the creaturefrom making iterative attacks with any of its arms, nor can it make more than ten attacks against a Small orsmaller creature, fifteen attacks against a Medium-sizecreature, or twenty attacks against a Large creature inthe same action (it can make all its attacks against aHuge or larger creature in one action).Skills: A hecatoncheires’ fifty headsgive it a +50 racial bonus on Listen, Spot, and Search checks.Spell-Like Abilities: At will—greater magic weapon, fly, shield. Caster level 50th;save DC 17 + spell level.Summon Hecatoncheires(Sp): A hecatoncheirescan summon oneother hecatoncheiresonce per day, thoughis loath to do so becausethen it will be similarlyobligated to answer its sibling’ssummoning. A summonedhecatoncheires cannotuse its summoning powerwhile “summoned.”Abomination Traits:Immune to polymorphing, petrification, and other formalteringattacks; not subject toenergy drain, ability drain, ability damage, or death frommassive damage; immune tomind-affecting effects; fireresistance 20; cold resistance20; nondetection; trueseeing at will; blindsight500 ft.; telepathy out to1,000 ft.Regeneration (Ex):Hecatoncheires take normaldamage from goodweapons or weaponstempered with the bloodof a deity.CHAPTER 5:MONSTERS163
