Known as “the Reaper,” he wandered amongthe cities of Unther, killing anyone he identified as anenemy of Gilgeam. Even in those days, he was a psychopathprone to fits ofextreme violence; sinceGilgeam’s death,he has lost anyvestige of sanityhe still possessed.Shuruppak still wears the garb of hisformer office: black robes and a hoodadorned with a magical red skull mask thatcovers the top half of his face. He seems to revel inthe terror his appearance causes among the natives ofUnther whom he terrorized for so long. Despite the factthat he is considered an outlaw against the occupyingforces of Mulhorand, he travels freely through bothfree and occupied Unther, no one daring to lay a handon him. He is being actively courted by both thechurch of Tiamat and the Red Wizards of Thay, both ofwhom would like to see Unther regain its independencefrom Mulhorand. He seems reluctant to have anythingto do with the goddess who killed his patron,and he has received the Thayans no more warmly.
