Epic feats allow your character to leapvast chasms, to cast many spells per round, or to take theform of a dragon.Though this book contains more than one hundredfifty epic feats, it can't hope to encompass all the powersthat your imagination can create. Rather than seeing thislist as a restrictive collection of what is allowed, use it tospur your creativity. If you can dream of an epic characterdoing it, it can probably become an epic feat.ACQUIRING EPIC FEATSJust like regular feats, epic feats are chosen rather thanbought with points. Characters gain epic feats in the followingways:• At 21st level, and every three levels thereafter, the charactermay select an epic feat in place of a nonepic feat,• Each character class gains bonus epic feats according tothe class description. These feats must be selected fromthe list of bonus epic feats for that class.PREREQUISITESMost epic feats have prerequisites. You must have thelisted ability score, feat, skill, class feature, or base attackmodifier in order to select or use that feat. A charactercan gain an epic feat at the same level at which he or shegains the prerequisite, just as with regular feats.A prerequisite expressed as a numerical value is a minimum;any value higher than the one given also meets theprerequisite.You can't use an epic feat if you've lost a prerequisite.46
