He went on: 'And before I dropmy body, I had to meet him, so I went to Sakori <strong><strong>an</strong>d</strong> bowed down to his shrine <strong><strong>an</strong>d</strong> told him, "You know Iam the Ancient One".' <strong>Baba</strong> again interrupted the tr<strong>an</strong>slator <strong><strong>an</strong>d</strong> replaced him <strong>with</strong> <strong>an</strong>other. He went on:'Maharaj was Perfection personified. At the head <strong>of</strong> the Sakori Ashram is Godavri Mai, whom I call"Yashoda". She is a unique female personality <strong><strong>an</strong>d</strong> loves me beyond words, <strong><strong>an</strong>d</strong> to me she is the dearest <strong>of</strong>the dear.'<strong>Baba</strong> then introduced the Sakori men. He first asked Yeshw<strong>an</strong>trao to rise, <strong><strong>an</strong>d</strong> said, 'He is the linkbetween Maharaj <strong><strong>an</strong>d</strong> Merw<strong>an</strong>'. Wagh then stood up <strong><strong>an</strong>d</strong> <strong>Baba</strong> said: 'This is Wagh, who has for yearsfaithfully <strong><strong>an</strong>d</strong> honestly carried out the <strong>of</strong>fice work <strong><strong>an</strong>d</strong> the arr<strong>an</strong>gements at Sakori Ashram; he c<strong>an</strong> becalled one <strong>of</strong> the few main pillars <strong>of</strong> Sakori.' Vas<strong>an</strong>t Deshmukh stood up <strong><strong>an</strong>d</strong> <strong>Baba</strong> said: 'Here is Sakori'shigh priest; even his priesthood will not save me from the violent death.' Pur<strong><strong>an</strong>d</strong>hare stood up <strong><strong>an</strong>d</strong> <strong>Baba</strong>said: 'One <strong>of</strong> the most honest, faithful workers at Sakori.' <strong>The</strong>n Bharucha stood up <strong><strong>an</strong>d</strong> <strong>Baba</strong> said: 'This oldParsi father loves God wholeheartedly <strong><strong>an</strong>d</strong> longs for God, at Sakori, near the feet <strong>of</strong> Maharaj.' <strong>The</strong> Sakorimen then left the platform. <strong>Baba</strong> said:"Now please pay attention, be wide awake, not drowsy. Since I stopped speaking, <strong><strong>an</strong>d</strong> also stoppedwriting, except for my signature when essential, I carried on <strong>with</strong> this alphabet board all these years <strong>of</strong> mysilence.
