be carried out outside this assignment, at a later date.<br />

Preparation of an outline and financial arrangement for a decommissioning plan.<br />

4.2.3. Cumulative impact assessment on the St Paul river developments<br />

Summary assessment of the economic aspects and the least cost option for the<br />

development of the construction and operation of the St Paul river cascade, and<br />

elaboration on the cumulative impacts on the environmental and social aspects, in<br />

particular on the impact on the Mount Coffee Hydropower project (the rehabilitation),<br />

on the downstream area of Mount Coffee and on the Estuary and Maritime Region<br />

The identified developments in addition to the Mount Coffee Hydropower project are:<br />

� Via Reservoir<br />

� SP-1B (stage 1)-78 MW<br />

� SP-2 (stage 1)- 120 MW<br />

� Mount Coffee (stage 2)- 122 MW<br />

� SP-1B (stage 2)- 143 MW<br />

� SP-2 (stage 2)- 220 MW<br />

� V-1-132 MW<br />

This assessment should make use of existing studies .<br />

4.2.4. Impact of the project on the White Plains Water Treatment Plant<br />

Downstream of the Mount Coffee Hydropower plant is the raw water intake from the St<br />

Paul River for the White Plains Water Treatment Plant, which serves the City of<br />

Monrovia.<br />

An assessment should be carried out on the water quality of the raw water downstream<br />

of the Power plant, the impact of the tidal salt water intrusion from the sea in the intake<br />

area and the feasibility to transfer the raw water intake to the St Paul River upstream of<br />

the Mount Coffee Plant (including measures to be taken, construction needs, tentative<br />

cost, ROW for the pipeline relocation and/or extension and the related Environmental<br />

and Social Impacts).<br />

4.2.5. World <strong>Bank</strong> Safeguard Policies<br />

The Consultant should analyse and report on which World <strong>Bank</strong> Safeguard Policies<br />

have been triggered, as well as how these policies have been addressed.
