V. Generalizations and <strong>in</strong>terpretation – as a matter <strong>of</strong> fact the real value <strong>of</strong> research lies<br />

<strong>in</strong> its ability to arrive at certa<strong>in</strong> generalizations.<br />

VI. Preparation <strong>of</strong> the report or the thesis – the researcher has to prepare the report <strong>of</strong><br />

what has been done by him. Writ<strong>in</strong>g <strong>of</strong> report must be so with great care keep<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong><br />

view the follow<strong>in</strong>g:-<br />

<strong>The</strong> layout <strong>of</strong> the report should conta<strong>in</strong> the prelim<strong>in</strong>ary pages, the ma<strong>in</strong> text and the end<br />

matter<br />

� <strong>The</strong> <strong>role</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>in</strong>terviewer– to analyze the f<strong>in</strong>d out if the researchers have enough<br />

knowledge and skills particularly on the research <strong>in</strong>volves e.g. for a course, asked<br />

questions to see if they are suitable for a particular course <strong>of</strong> study at a<br />

college/university.<br />

<strong>The</strong> <strong>role</strong> <strong>of</strong> consultant – To give a technical/expert advice on a particular subject to other<br />

companies’ people or organizations that are <strong>in</strong>terested to the <strong>in</strong>formation before mak<strong>in</strong>g a<br />

decision about it.<br />

<strong>The</strong> <strong>role</strong> <strong>of</strong> Facilitator: Facilitates the smooth sail<strong>in</strong>g <strong>of</strong> the various research operations,<br />

thereby mak<strong>in</strong>g research as efficient as possible yield<strong>in</strong>g maximal <strong>in</strong>formation with m<strong>in</strong>imal<br />

expenditure <strong>of</strong> effort, time and money.<br />

2. What are specifics <strong>of</strong> the study?<br />

Is to obta<strong>in</strong> and discover<strong>in</strong>g future research tasks. It was equally formal because it further<br />

extends the exploratory work by test<strong>in</strong>g the hypotheses designed and also answers the<br />

research questions asked.<br />

whom, which made it a descriptive study <strong>in</strong> one hand. On the other hand, the study was<br />

casual <strong>in</strong> the sense that attempt was made to f<strong>in</strong>d out the casual relationships among variables<br />

such as the support measures and the end users, <strong>in</strong> this case, the SACCOs; the environment was<br />
