� Helps to br<strong>in</strong>g more concepts, variables and relationships and thus help<strong>in</strong>g to uncover<br />

the real world.<br />

6. How each <strong>of</strong> the step <strong>in</strong> the project been thought through <strong>in</strong> terms <strong>of</strong> their feasibility?<br />

Each <strong>of</strong> the steps <strong>in</strong> the project been thought through by:-<br />

(i) Def<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g the statement <strong>of</strong> the problem - keep<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> view either some practical<br />

concern or some scientific or <strong>in</strong>terest <strong>in</strong>tellectual, i.e. the researcher must immerse<br />

himself thoroughly <strong>in</strong> the subject matter concern<strong>in</strong>g which he wishes to pose a<br />

problem.<br />

(ii) Understand<strong>in</strong>g the nature <strong>of</strong> the problem.<br />

� To discuss the problem with those who first raised it <strong>in</strong> order to f<strong>in</strong>d out how<br />

the problem orig<strong>in</strong>ally came about and with what objective <strong>in</strong> view.<br />

(iii) Survey<strong>in</strong>g the available literature – All the available literature concern<strong>in</strong>g the<br />

problem at hand must necessarily be surveyed and exam<strong>in</strong>ed.<br />

(iv) Develop<strong>in</strong>g the ideas through discussion:-Various new ideas can be developed<br />

through discussion. Hence, a researcher must discuss his problem with his<br />

colleagues and others who have enough experience <strong>in</strong> the same area or <strong>in</strong><br />

work<strong>in</strong>g on similar problems.<br />

(v) Rephras<strong>in</strong>g the research problem:<br />

� <strong>The</strong> researcher must sit to rephrase the research problem <strong>in</strong>to a work<strong>in</strong>g proposition.<br />

When the nature <strong>of</strong> the problem has been clearly understood, the environment (with<strong>in</strong><br />
