Interagency Integrated SOPUNCLASSIFIED9.1.2.Cross-cut shredders currently in use that produce a residue particle size that does notexceed 1/32 inch in width by ½ inch in length may continue to be used for the destructionof classified information. Where maintenance is performed on such machines thatinvolves rebuilding the shredder blade assembly, or, where new shredders are purchasedfor the destruction of classified information, the replacement or new purchase shallcomply with CNSS Policy No. 16, National Policy for the Destruction of COMSECPaper Material, <strong>and</strong> be equipment listed on the National Security Agency (NSA)Evaluated Products List (EPL) of High Security Crosscut Shredders. A copy of the EPLcan be obtained by calling the NSA National Information Assurance Center at (800) 688-6115. Technical guidance on other methods of destruction can be obtained by contactingthe JFO Security <strong>Office</strong>r.9.1.3.Technical guidance concerning appropriate methods, equipment, <strong>and</strong> st<strong>and</strong>ards for thedestruction of classified electronic media, processing equipment components, <strong>and</strong> the likemay be obtained by contacting the Directorate for Information Systems Security,National Security Agency, Ft. Meade, MD 20755.10.0 Administrative Sanctions10.1. Individual ResponsibilityAny person who suspects or has knowledge of a violation, including the known or suspectedloss or compromise of Classified National Security Information, shall promptly report theviolation to the JFO Security <strong>Office</strong>r.10.2. Violations Subject to SanctionsPersonnel are subject to administrative sanctions if they:10.2.1.Knowingly, willfully, or negligently disclose to unauthorized persons informationclassified under Executive Order 12958, Classified National Security Information, asamended, or its predecessor orders.10.2.2.Knowingly, willfully, or negligently violate any other provisions of Executive Order12958, or knowingly <strong>and</strong> willfully grant eligibility for, or allow access to, classifiedinformation in violation of Executive Order 12958, as amended, or its implementingdirectives.120Version 8.3Interim Approval April 28, 2006
