Interagency Integrated SOPUNCLASSIFIED2.3 Requests for Information (RFIs) Management (Exclusive ofIntelligence-Related RFIs)• RFIs made to the JFO from other organizations <strong>and</strong> internal RFIs will be routed to theJFO Planning Section Chief (PSC). The JFO PSC will ensure that the RFI is postedonto JFOnet. Specific desks within the JFO may be tasked by the JFO PSC to provideinformation in response to the RFI.• The JFO Situation Unit or Documentation Unit, at the JFO PSC’s discretion, willcoordinate RFI responses with the JFO Coordination Group.• The JFO Situation Unit will maintain an RFI tracking log to eliminate duplicatetaskings <strong>and</strong> track responses.2.4 Specialized Management of Intelligence-Related RFIs• Management <strong>and</strong> flow of intelligence-related RFIs will be dependent upon theorganizational location of the Intelligence Component within the JFO structure. If aLaw Enforcement Investigative <strong>Operations</strong> Branch (FBI/JOC) is activated <strong>and</strong> thecomponent is integrated into it, RFIs will be managed in accordance with theinstructions of the Senior <strong>Federal</strong> Law Enforcement Official (SFLEO) as part of theJFO Coordination Group. If Intelligence is integrated into the Planning Section, theSection Chief, in coordination with the JFO Coordination Group, shall establishprocedures <strong>and</strong> communicate them via JFOnet. If Intelligence is a separate section, theIntelligence Section Chief, in coordination with the JFO Coordination Group, shallestablish procedures <strong>and</strong> communicate them via JFOnet.• This specialized management shall apply to all intelligence-related RFIs regardless ofthe classification level.• H<strong>and</strong>ling procedures shall include appropriate information, communications, <strong>and</strong>operational security provisions based upon the classification of the material.2.5 Resource Status Reporting• [FEMA Disaster Resource Tracking Systems]• The HSIN Tech to the Resource Unit will cross-post relevant data from theDHS/FEMA Resource Tracking System to HSIN-JFOnet in order to optimize thesharing of situational awareness related to resource requirements.2.6 Coordination Plans <strong>and</strong> Briefings• Briefings <strong>and</strong> Coordination Plans will be posted by the NOC representative to theSituation Unit.3.0 External Communications• The aggressive use of JFOnet to distribute information, including scheduled SITREPs <strong>and</strong>SPOTREPs, permits authorized external users <strong>and</strong> organizations, such as the NOC, IAC,State/local emergency management agencies, DHS components, <strong>and</strong> other appropriate74Version 8.3Interim Approval April 28, 2006
