Interagency Integrated SOPUNCLASSIFIED• Provides direct reachback to IMD operations <strong>and</strong> planning subject-matterexpertise, in support of the PFO/Deputy PFO requirements;• Provides the PFO <strong>and</strong> the Director, IMD, overarching observations related toenhancing facilitation of interagency prevention, protection, preparedness, <strong>and</strong>response coordination; <strong>and</strong>• Captures items/issues <strong>and</strong> develops the After Action Report (AAR).Administrative Assistant. Staff representatives from selected directorates will serveas recorders for the PFO; specific requirements will vary depending on the nature ofthe incident. These recorders represent the Planning Section <strong>and</strong> facilitate thecollection, evaluation, <strong>and</strong> dissemination of information about the incident <strong>and</strong> use ofresources. The completeness <strong>and</strong> accuracy of records may be critical to documentingthe need for State <strong>and</strong>/or <strong>Federal</strong> assistance <strong>and</strong> also may be critical should an eventoccur that results in future litigation. Additional responsibilities include thefollowing:• Assists the Deputy PFO in tracking the financial resource requirements of theincident response effort;• Serves as the primary collector for after-action issues;• Ensures that the JFO Situation Unit receives timely <strong>and</strong> accurate information forthe preparation of SITREPs as required; <strong>and</strong>• Assists the PFO support staff <strong>Operations</strong> <strong>Office</strong>r in pre-deploymentadministration, travel, scheduling, <strong>and</strong> logistical support to the PFO supportstaff.Communications/Information Technology Support Personnel. The ChiefInformation <strong>Office</strong>r’s (CIO’s) liaison serves as the primary IT consultant to the PFO<strong>and</strong> is responsible for establishing all necessary linkage through technology requiredby the PFO to best facilitate the response effort <strong>and</strong> enable the PFO to maintainoptimal situational awareness. Additional responsibilities include the following:• Represents the interests of the PFO, <strong>and</strong> provide liaison to the <strong>Office</strong> of theCIO;• Suggests <strong>and</strong> provides information technology solutions in order to enhanceinteroperability <strong>and</strong> facilitate communications by establishing management,operational, <strong>and</strong> technical controls on the IT systems supporting the incidentresponse;• Integrates the PFO <strong>and</strong> PFO support staff into the JFO network or virtual privatenetwork;• Assists in the preparation of SITREPs as required;• Ensures the appropriate technology is in place to best relay SITREPs throughdistribution in a timely manner;• Provides JRIES (classified <strong>and</strong> unclassified) connectivity, training, <strong>and</strong> supportto the PFO support staff <strong>and</strong> State <strong>and</strong> local law enforcement agencies;• Establishes <strong>and</strong> maintains SVTC capability in support of the PFO support staff;<strong>and</strong>152Version 8.3Interim Approval April 28, 2006
