The legislative processes for the transfer of TVET College management staff to the Department have<br />

to the Department via the Provincial TVET unit to the Deputy Director-General: Vocational and Continuing<br />

<br />

departments (PEDs) although the posts have been transferred to the Department. The Department has<br />

taken over the responsibilities on the appointment of staff. The PEDs processed these appointments on<br />

PERSAL, on an agency basis. The Minister has approved the establishments of the transferred posts in the<br />

Department.<br />
