1. Introduction<br />

The Department is committed to maintain the highest standards of governance. Good governance structures are<br />

Policies for various matters have been developed and have been communicated to staff members.<br />

The budget of the Department is aligned to the Strategic Plan and Annual Performance Plan of the Department<br />

2. Risk Management<br />

The Department has a risk management policy and strategy that includes a risk management implementation<br />

plan. These have been approved by the Director-General of the Department.<br />
