There are interventions from the side of<br />
DST such as funding through the NRF for<br />
<br />

of students from UG degrees to Honours and<br />
then to Masters and Doctoral studies in order<br />

not continue on to post-graduate studies and<br />
thereby enable them to provide interventions at<br />
post-graduate level. The Department has also<br />
<br />
to focus on improving post-graduate output,<br />
through investments in teaching development<br />
and research development to push the<br />
improvement of research outputs<br />
