Rigden: Quite right. When a ritual or a rite relating to appeal to a certain god of this
religion was conducted, the leader drew an individual symbol (veveh) of the god to
whom they appealed, on the ground, with meal or seeds. Owing to this, nowadays we
can find symbols reflecting the ancient knowledge including that about the four Aspects,
although contemporary fans of this religion interpret it in their own way.
Unfortunately, the emphasis long ago moved from spiritual to materialistic attitude to
such Knowledge. This is true not just for this specific religion, but for other religions as
well. Figuratively speaking, people were once given a crook (the Knowledge) so that
they could reach the summits of their spiritual improvement, leaning on that crook.
However, improving oneself spiritually, changing oneself is much harder than pleasing
one’s mind with flattering illusions of the material world. Human laziness and idle mind
have turned that crook into an assistant instrument for equipping a temporary dugout
dwelling, thus having exchanged the way to the Eternity for “a stumbling block” which
is a mere dust. In other words, people selfishly attempted to remake the genuine
Knowledge for their own temporary needs, not taking care of those who would come
afterwards. Yet, thanks to this Knowledge dissemination in due time among peoples of
the ancient world which inhabited different continents, nowadays we can find echoes of
those in various corners of the Earth.
