Anastasia: Well, that gesture of the ring finger junction with the thumb as a symbol of
the combination of God’s power with a person’s energy potential, given that gesture is
made by Jesus Christ as God’s Son, is indeed a real gesture of blessing for the humanity.
Rigden: Moreover, on the Saviour in Glory icon Jesus is portrayed against the
background of geometric shapes. In particular, in the background there is a red square on
corners of which there are a winged man, a lion, a bull, and an eagle.
