Rigden: Certainly. Yet, humans always remain humans. Even when they come to
possess the Knowledge about themselves and the significance of signs and symbols, in
time they tend to distort those, to add something, to complicate at their own discretion.
As a result, what one generation of people knew at the beginning of a century and the
other generation knew at its end was obviously different by meaning and quality of the
content. Nevertheless, from time to time this Knowledge has been renovated in the
human society. Certain cultures were vanishing, taking “the sacred secrets” to the grave,
while others, vice versa, were forming and blossoming out on the remains of previous
generations’ knowledge. Thus, this Knowledge in its genuine form has always been
Rigden: Absolutely. This is the result achieved by the humanity. And not just the
Knowledge has been lost, but even the semantic meaning of words which used to
designate certain symbols and signs as a complex. I can set an example. Let’s consider
the word “symbol” itself which is currently widely used by the Russian-speaking
population in everyday life. This word has been adopted from the Greek language. At
that, how did it appear in Ancient Greece?
In Ancient Greece, there existed such a word as “shma” meaning “a sign”, “a banner”,
“a heavenly sign”. It should be mentioned that ancient cultures of the Aegean region (as
long ago as before Greece appeared), particularly after those nations had got into contact
with oriental peoples (for instance, with inhabitants of с жителями Anatolia (currently
