all times, and created on its new, profitable for them power patterns for the enslavement
of social consciousness.
Anastasia: In due time, after one memorable for me conversation with you, I have
researched in details the question of the motivation and substantiation by priests at
different times of the importance those or that religion for the consciousness of nations.
And I have found a lot of interesting facts. Practically, in all beliefs emphasis was placed
on ritual of offering sacrifice to that or those god, which constituted the main action in a
religious ceremony. Today, for example, in addition to traditional ceremonies, it is banal
cash donation of funds "for religious purposes."
I remember your words said at that time: "If people still remember what is a "sacrifice"
to God? In fact, almost all religious systems at various times have been built around the
ritual of sacrifice. Why since ancient times the "sacrifice" played such an important role
in worship services of different nations?” What you said further, was for me a real
insight. Would you please tell the readers about this moment, significant for humanity?
Rigden: Well, it is worth it. Let us start with the interpretation of the ancient Slavic
word "sacrifice," which, though comically by ear, but reflects the essence. I have once
said that the word "sacrifice", that appeared in Russian language in the XI century in
connection with the spread of Christianity religion, comes from the verbal formation –
ancient Slavic word “жьрѫ” (“gorge”, “making the sacrifice”). And “gorge” (“жьрѫ”)
in turn, before the Slavs used to in mean "to eat" (ancient Slavonic verb, origin from
Indo-European), that is "gulp back". By the way, "gulp back" was related to the ancient
Russian word "belly", which in ancient times meant "life." From it and occurred ancient
Slavic word "animal" - literally meaning "something that lives." In addition, the word
"animal" has become widespread in the Kiev Russia precisely in XI-XII centuries,
thanks to the sacred renewal of the primordial spiritual Teaching (including the teaching
about four Aspects) given by St Agapit Pecherskiy.
Anastasia: Turns out, old slavic temples, especially those, on which have been put
special signs and symbols, were not "altars" as such. Perhaps, in some cases it was a
well-known places, where people during centuries came to study (by signs and symbols)
spiritual knowledge, to share their experiences, such as, for example, the ancient people
