relations. Even if we go into particularities… For example, if you consider scientific
researches on ancient signs and perfunctorily look at the issues studied in such
researches, you can’t help wondering at the wall of artificial obstacles which nowadays
is to be faced by those who endeavour to get at the heart of the truth. Under what
conditions do scientists, say, in ethnology, ethnography, archaeology, ancient history,
etc. have to work? They have to work on mere enthusiasm and for scanty earnings. At
that, in their work they have to face numerous bureaucratic or financial obstacles, lack of
organization and coordination in involvement of specialists from allied fields for more
profound complex study of various issues. And often they simply face the conspiracy of
silence, the so-called “scientific taboo” on certain topics or discoveries.
I don’t even want to mention global-scale situations when, in many cases, obstacles are
artificially put in the way to certain information or to unique archaeological discoveries
which are basically been hidden from people. Naturally, all this takes place with the
participation of some interested institutions. Such valuable information is either not
brought to the notice of wide scientific community at all, being left to collect dust in
depositories, or important artefacts are accumulated in private collections or even totally
withdrawn by secret services and vanish without a trace. Probably, someone is very
afraid that this information will shake the ideology and principles of somebody’s power
beneficial for controlling contemporary nations. Thus, those scientists should be
honoured and praised who, in spite of all obstacles, continue selflessly working in the
science field and notifying people on significant discoveries which destroy the illusion
of “wildness” of ancient peoples and often evidence the priority of spiritual values and
knowledge in the distant past. However, at that, a question is arising why the society
itself keeps silent, for the society should be first of all interested in its spiritual past in
order to understand and to determine the correct vector for its future.
Rigden: The society keeps silent because the consciousness of the majority of people
has been processed by materialistic thinking stereotypes to such extent that an ordinary
person cannot comprehend even the statement of a question itself. When his or her mind
is blindfolded with such sets and patterns, he or she is simply unable to understand why
scientific professions should have a greater priority for the society and the state than, for
instance, an occupation of a nanotechnologist who conducts researches at the atomic and
molecular level, or of a financial analyst, or of a physicist dealing with new types of
