HAZARDOUS HOLES<br />

9.76.030 Notice to Remedy - Failure a<br />

Violation.<br />

It shall be unlawful for any person to maintain, operate, abandon or allow to exist upon any premises within the<br />

<strong>City</strong> owned by or under the control <strong>of</strong> the person, any well hole or well hole casing, cesspool, septic tank, sump or<br />

pipe or any other hole in the ground that is hazardous to the life or limb <strong>of</strong> child or adults unless proper precautions<br />

are taken by the person to prevent such well hole or well hole casing, cesspool, septic tank, sump or pipe from being a<br />

hazard to the life or limb <strong>of</strong> child or adults. (Prior <strong>Code</strong> §32.20(part).)<br />

9.76.020 Abandoned Hole - Precautions Required.<br />

It shall be unlawful for any person to abandon such well hole or well hole casing, cesspool, septic tank, sump or<br />

pipe within the <strong>City</strong> without first taking proper precautions to prevent such abandoned well hole or well hole casing,<br />

cesspool, septic tank, sump or pipe from being a hazard to the life or limb <strong>of</strong> child or adults. (Prior <strong>Code</strong><br />

§32.20(part).)<br />

9.76.030 Notice to Remedy - Failure a Violation.<br />

In the event that any owner or person, having under his control premises upon which such hazard exists, is<br />

notified by the Police Department <strong>of</strong> the <strong>City</strong>, in writing, that such hazard exists and such person fails, within twentyfour<br />

(24) hours, to remedy the condition then existing, each day that such hazard continues shall be considered a<br />

separate and distinct violation <strong>of</strong> this chapter. (Prior <strong>Code</strong> §32.20(part).)<br />

IDENTIFICATION CARDS AND PHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTS<br />

9.84.020 Moneys Collected Paid Into<br />

9.84.010 Sale <strong>of</strong> Photographic, Etc., Prints, Identification Cards, Etc., by Police Department Authorized.<br />

The Police Department is hereby authorized to issue identification cards to persons applying therefor and to sell<br />

photographic or photostatic prints from film or other records which have been made by the Police Department in its<br />

routine work, and to require the payment <strong>of</strong> an amount for such cards, photographic or photostatic prints as may be<br />

fixed by the Board <strong>of</strong> Fire and Police Commissioners. The issuance <strong>of</strong> such cards and sale <strong>of</strong> such prints shall at all<br />

times be subject to such rules and orders as may be prescribed by the Board. (Prior <strong>Code</strong> §2.5(part).)<br />

9.84.020 Moneys Collected Paid Into General Fund.<br />

All moneys collected by the Police Department from the issuance <strong>of</strong> identification cards or the sale <strong>of</strong><br />

photographic prints as provided shall be paid into the General Fund <strong>of</strong> the <strong>City</strong>. (Prior <strong>Code</strong> §2.5(part).)<br />
