(C) Responsibilities :-<br />

• Treasurer is responsible for preparing indent, receiving<br />

them and keeping a up-to-date account.<br />

• Treasury Officer is responsible to ensure availability of<br />

B.T.R.'s in stock.<br />

(ii) Issue of BTR to Drawing Officers :-<br />

(A)<br />

General Process:-<br />

• The D.D.O.'s through authorized messenger, presents a<br />

demand letter to the Treasurer along with the Challan of<br />

required sum.<br />

• The Treasurer after verification of authority, Challan and<br />

last page of used previous BTR and identity of messenger<br />

puts up the case before Treasury Officer. Treasury Officer<br />

verifies the entries and signs the stock register.<br />
