It started the day Mum and Dad brought him home. Back then all he ever seemed to do was scream and make a mess—and he hasn’t changed a bit. He has the world’s loudest voice. I’m sure you could hear him from outer space—which I think would be a great place for him to go. He is so messy. I’ve tried to tell him food should go in his mouth and not all around it, all over him and on my things. Not that I have things anymore. He thinks he owns everything and he can do whatever he wants with them. Even Mum can’t stop him messing up my things. He keeps Mum and Dad so busy that they never have any time for me. Last night I read about a short chant that made things vanish. You just have to hold your hands out in front of your nose, close your eyes, think hard about what you want to disappear, say the chant out loud twice and turn around three times. The girl in the story tried to make her friend’s grumpy dog disappear. I don’t know if it worked because my little brother got my door open, grabbed my book, ran away and hid it.
