Yellow 9 In the land of Nuts and Bolts 1 2 3 4 In the land of Nuts and Bolts lived a robot king named Rebus. Rebus was a good king. All the robots were shiny. They did not clank or grind when they moved. One day, Rebus thought, ‘Everything is clean and shiny. Everything is quiet. Life is boring. What we need is a little boy to make a mess and lots of noise’. Rebus sent his soldier robots to Earth to find a little boy to make a mess and lots of noise. ‘Tommy, stop making all that noise! Go and clean up your room!’ the soldier robots heard. They peeked in the window of the house. They saw a little boy in a messy room. He was banging a spanner on a toy workbench. ©R.I.C.
