Green 2 The biggest animal on Earth 1 Blue whales are the biggest animals on Earth. They can grow to over 30 metres long. That’s longer than two buses! Blue whales are thought to be bigger than any dinosaur that lived on Earth. 2 3 A blue whale’s heart is as big as a small car. Its tongue is as heavy as an elephant. Even the sounds blue whales make are ‘big’. A blue whale can make sounds under water that are louder than a jet plane taking off. ©R.I.C.
