The continuation of the war, on the one hand, and the severity of the monetary policy measures decided by the ECB, on the other, combine to delineate a picture that is anything but favourable, confirming the fears that surfaced at the end of 2022. This is what emerges from the analysis contained in the 1 st <strong>2023</strong> Observatory on the Real Estate Market by Nomisma which, in addition to illustrating the Italian macroeconomic context, analyses the performance of the real estate sector in 13 intermediate markets (Ancona, Bergamo, Brescia, Livorno, Messina, Modena, Novara, Parma, Perugia, Salerno Taranto, Trieste and Verona). The presentation event, on 24 March <strong>2023</strong>, was attended by Lucio Poma, Chief Economist of Nomisma, Luca Dondi DallʼOrologio, Managing Director of Nomisma, and Elena Molignoni, Head of the Osservatorio Immobiliare. The issues raised by the report were explored in depth at the subsequent round table by Elena Zanlorenzi (Head of Research Savills Italia), Gianfranco Torriero (Deputy General Manager ABI), Stefano Magnolfi (Executive Director CRIF Real Estate Services) and Marco Marcatili (Head of Development Nomisma). THE MACROECONOMIC CONTEXT: POSITIVE SIGNALS AND UNCERTAINTIES Lucio Poma, Chief Economist at Nomisma, spoke about the scenario that defines the premises of the Real Estate Market Observatory.
