CONTROL TECHNIQUES CELEBRATES
50 YEARS AND ADOPTS A BEEHIVE
A day immersed in nature, on the outskirts
of Milan, to celebrate 50 years of Control
Techniques, half a century of activity conducted
under the banner of research
and technological innovation.
During the event, held on 21
April at the ʻSpazio Parco
Milanoʼ in Buccinasco (Milan,
Italy), the company, part of
the Nidec group and a global
benchmark in the development,
production and marketing of
high-performance and efficient
electric drives, announced
an initiative to support the
ʻAdopt a Beehiveʼ project by
3Bee (a young company and
agri-tech start-up that develops
intelligent monitoring and
diagnostic systems for bee
health). The project aims to help beekeepers
manage their hives efficiently and as sustainably
as possible in order to optimise honey
production and, at the same time, preserve
bees. How? Through the use of the tools that
technology offers us today, such as IoT (Internet
of Things) and AI (Artificial Intelligence), which
make it possible to constantly monitor hives,
save time, waste fewer resources and intervene
in a targeted manner when necessary.

CONTROL TECHNIQUES FESTEGGIA 50
ANNI E ADOTTA UN ALVEARE
Una giornata nella natura, alle porte di Milano,
per festeggiare i 50 anni di Control Techniques,
mezzo secolo di attività condotte all’insegna
della ricerca e dell’innovazione
tecnologica. Durante l’evento, che si
è tenuto il 21 aprile scorso presso lo
ʻSpazio Parco Milanoʼ a Buccinasco
(Milano, Italia), l’azienda, parte del
gruppo Nidec e punto di riferimento
globale nello sviluppo, produzione e
commercializzazione di azionamenti
elettrici ad alte prestazioni
ed efficienza, ha annunciato
un’iniziativa per sostenere il
progetto ‘Adotta un alveare’ di 3Bee
(giovane azienda e startup agri-tech
che sviluppa sistemi intelligenti di
monitoraggio e diagnostica per la
salute delle api). Il progetto si pone
l’obiettivo di aiutare gli apicoltori a
gestire in modo efficiente e quanto più sostenibile
possibile i propri alveari, al fine di ottimizzare la
produzione del miele e, al contempo, preservare
le api. In che modo? Attraverso l’impiego degli
strumenti che oggi la tecnologia ci offre, come
l’IoT (Internet of Things) e l’IA (Intelligenza
Artificiale), che consentono di monitorare
costantemente le arnie, risparmiare tempo,
sprecare meno risorse e intervenire in modo
mirato in caso di necessità.

OF THE CONFERENCE IN MILAN
The 12 th edition of the Italian/International Tall
Buildings Conference will be held in Milan
(Italy) on 28 June 2023. Sponsored by
the Iuav University of Venice and the
Milan Polytechnic and coordinated
by Aldo Norsa (Guamari) and Dario
Trabucco (Iuav), Tall Buildings will
once again be held this year in the
Salone dʼOnore of the Milan Triennale. Many
guests will speak during the long day of meetings.
These include Stefano Boeri (Triennale Milano),
Regina De Albertis (Ance Assimpredil), Emilio
Faroldi (Politecnico di Milano), Patricia Viel
(ACPV Architects) and Paolo Asti (Asti Architetti).

anche quest’anno Tall Buildings
si svolgerà nel Salone d’Onore
di Triennale Milano. Molti gli ospiti che
interverranno nella lunga giornata di incontri.
