ROSSANO ALLEGRA (ENTREPRENEUR / IMPRENDITORE)
Born in Novara in 1961, he is an industrial expert
specialising in electrical engineering. He
founded with his wife Maria Giuseppina
the companies Allegra Ascensori and then
Allegra Srl, of which he was chairman.
Member as expert of the UNI Commission
for lifts, hoists, escalators and similar devices
since 2003. Participates in working groups for
the development and interpretation of UNI/CEN
technical standards. Loves reading and good music.
Nato a Novara nel 1961, perito industriale con
specializzazione in elettrotecnica. Fonda con
la moglie Maria Giuseppina le aziende
Allegra Ascensori e poi Allegra Srl, di cui
è stato presidente. Membro in qualità di
esperto della Commissione UNI ascensori,
montacarichi, scale mobili e apparecchi
similari dal 2003. Partecipa ai gruppi di lavoro
per lo sviluppo e l’interpretazione di norme
tecniche UNI/CEN. Ama la lettura e la buona musica.
Mechanical engineer, he is a member of the UNI
Commission CT019 ‘Lift, goods lift, escalator
and similar equipment installations’ and of
the European Working Groups CEN/TC10/
WG1 ‘Lift and goods lifts’, CEN/TC10/WG8
‘Stairlifts and vertical platforms’ and CEN/
TC10/WG13 ‘Vertical lifting appliance with
enclosed carrier’. He worked in Falconi and
Otis. He was member of CNR’s Commission for
interpretation on D.P.R. 1497/63. He was Technical
Director of IGV Group Spa.
Born in 1973. Consultant and Designer of elevation
systems, Director of Research Design & User Experience
at Tre-E Scrl and Managing Director of Tre-Engine
Srl, he participates as an expert in the Italian
technical commission UNI CT019, in active
working groups and in the European working
group CEN TC10/ WG13. He is an expert in the
Efesme Digital Working Group, a member of
the technical committee Etsi- TC Smart M2M
representing SBS (Small Business Standards)
and Rappourter of the documents ‘Smart lifts’ and
‘Smart escalator’. Since February 2022 he has been an
expert in the Working Group Standards of the European
Digital SME Alliance. Since September 2022, he has
participated as an expert in ISO/TC178 WG13 New
technologies.
A mechanical engineer, he joined the Prysmian Group
in 2011, in the Elevators Business Unit. Since 2017
he has held the position of Global Application
Manager. Mr Imbimbo is an active member
of the Italian UNI and international CEN/
ISO/ASME A.17 working groups for
technical standardisation in the elevator
sector. He has published articles and
presented papers at international forums
dedicated to elevator. He is co-author of
several books dedicated to elevator design and
personnel training for obtaining the elevator licence.
He also teaches training courses for the Elevator
industry as an independent consultant. Creator of the
character “Nic the Elevator Guy”®.

Ingegnere meccanico, è membro della
Commissione UNI CT019 ‘Impianti di
ascensori, montacarichi, scale mobili e
apparecchi similari’ e dei Gruppi di Lavoro
europei CEN/TC10/WG1 ‘Ascensori e
montacarichi’, CEN/TC10/WG8 ‘Montascale
e piattaforme elevatrici’ e CEN/TC10/WG13
‘Piattaforme elevatrici con cabina chiusa’. Ha
lavorato in Falconi e Otis. È stato membro della
Commissione CNR per l’emissione di pareri sul D.P.R.
1497/63. È stato Direttore tecnico di IGV Group Spa.
Classe 1973. Consulente e Progettista di impianti
di elevazione, Direttore Research Design & User
Experience di Tre-E Scrl e Consigliere delegato
di Tre-Engine Srl, partecipa come esperto in
commissione tecnica italiana UNI CT019,
nei gruppi di lavoro attivi e ne gruppo di
lavoro europeo CEN TC10/ WG13. È esperto
nel Digital Working Group di Efesme,

Ingegnere meccanico, nel 2011 è entrato a far parte
del Gruppo Prysmian, nella Business Unit Elevators.
Dal 2017 ricopre il ruolo di Global Application
Manager. Imbimbo è membro attivo dei gruppi
di lavoro italiani UNI e internazionali CEN/ISO/
ASME A.17 per la standardizzazione tecnica
del settore degli ascensori. Ha pubblicato
articoli e presentato memorie presso forum
internazionali dedicati agli ascensori. È
coautore di alcuni libri dedicati alla progettazione
di ascensori e alla formazione del personale per il
conseguimento del patentino di ascensorista. È anche
docente di corsi di formazione per l’industria degli
ascensori, in qualità di libero professionista. Creatore
del personaggio “Nic the Elevator Guy”®.
