La nuova Norma ISO 8100-2

BACKGROUND AND CONTENT
With this Elevatori Magazine article we begin
another, not too adventurous, journey
related to the future ISO 8100-2 standard,
referring of course to ISO 8100-1 which we
have covered up to the 2/2023 issue of Elevatori
Magazine.
This is certainly an important Standard and is a
logical evolution of ISO 8100-1, which, like all
standards, is the master standard, which fully
enters into force through the application of its
subordinate provisions.
Also for this new Standard, the aphorism “Natura
non facit saltus (nature does not make leaps)”
applies, in the sense that burning innovations
are not part of the evolution of the Standards
themselves, which adopt a moderate pace in
producing changes and innovations in order to
keep up with the technological developments that
accompany us in the course of our lives.
This is also essential to overcome unavoidable
practical problems such as training employees,
disposing of existing inventory, and planning
and starting new production made necessary
by the changes brought about with respect to
previous conditions.
To clarify, the ISO 8100-2 Standard will be
a global compendium of principles outlining
the results of the risk assessment invariably
performed with regard to a machine or lift
before and during its design and installation
to ensure, as has been the case since time

Con questo articolo di Elevatori Magazine
incominciamo un altro viaggio, non troppo
avventuroso, relativo alla futura Norma
ISO 8100-2, riferita ovviamente alla ISO 8100-1
di cui abbiamo trattato fino al numero 2/2023 di
Elevatori Magazine.
Si tratta certamente di una Norma importante,
come normale evoluzione della ISO 8100-1 che,
come tutte le norme, è una regina che dispone
di ancelle per la sua entrata in vigore in maniera
completa e reale.
Anche per questa nuova Norma possiamo dire
che “Natura non facit saltus (la natura non fa
salti)” nel senso che le novità brucianti non
fanno parte della evoluzione delle norme stesse,
che adottano un passo moderato nel produrre i
cambiamenti e le novità per rimanere al passo
con le evoluzioni della tecnica e della tecnologia
che ci accompagnano nel fluire della nostra vita.
Ciò è anche indispensabile per superare problemi
pratici inevitabili come la formazione degli addetti,
lo smaltimento della scorte di magazzino esistenti
e la progettazione e l’avvio delle nuove produzioni
rese necessarie dai cambiamenti intervenuti
rispetto alle condizioni precedenti.
Per spiegarci meglio, la Norma ISO 8100-2
sarà un compendio mondiale dei principi che
delineano i risultati della valutazione dei rischi che
accompagna sempre una macchina o un ascensore
prima e durante il suo lavoro di progettazione e
installazione per garantire, come sappiamo da
