Dear Chairman,
I was pleased to read the article (published
in the last issue of Elevatori Magazine) about
the interesting abstracts written by the vertical
transport experts who will present their studies
at Elevcon 2023, the international congress
of IAEE (The International Association of
Elevator Engineers), finally back in Prague this
year.
The programme is really rich and very focused
on innovative topics that will affect our
industry in the coming years. They are all very
interesting topics and I wanted to ask you to
give all of us who follow Elevatori Magazine
the opportunity to read in-depth articles by the
experts who will be speaking at the conference
in the coming months.
I am sure that in-depth articles of this kind
will be useful to all operators in the sector,
who will have to deal with technological (and
consequently also regulatory) innovations,
which will have a very wide-ranging impact on
our work.

ho letto con piacere l’articolo (pubblicato sullo
scorso numero di Elevatori Magazine) relativo
agli interessanti abstract scritti dagli esperti del
trasporto verticale che presenteranno i loro studi
a Elevcon 2023, il congresso internazionale di
IAEE (The International Association of Elevator
Engineers), finalmente quest’anno di nuovo in
presenza a Praga.
Il programma è davvero ricco e molto centrato
sui temi innovativi che influenzeranno il nostro
settore nei prossimi anni. Sono tutti argomenti
molto interessanti e volevo chiederLe di dare
la possibilità a tutti noi che seguiamo Elevatori
Magazine, di leggere, nei prossimi mesi, articoli
di approfondimento a cura degli esperti che
interverranno al convegno.
Sono certo che approfondimenti di questo tipo
saranno utili a tutti gli operatori del settore, che
dovranno confrontarsi con novità tecnologiche
(e, di conseguenza, anche normative), che
impatteranno in modo molto ampio sul nostro
lavoro.

Dear Reader,
Elevatori Magazine has been taking
part in Elevcon for years and promotes
it as a media partner magazine.
Again this year, as in previous editions,
Elevatori Magazine will be working with a
jury of experts, during the three days of the
convention, to award the prize for the most
avant-garde product, which will be presented
with the ʻElevatori-Elevcon High Tech Awardʼ.
It is therefore also a pleasure for us that readers
enjoy the content of this conference, which we
will not fail to address in more detail in future
issues of our magazine.
Regarding technological novelties, I agree with
your analysis. Also for this reason, the editorial
team is working on a new volume in the
series How It Works, which will deal precisely
with digitisation, because this is where many of
the most significant innovations for our sector
are coming from and will continue to come
from.

Caro Lettore,
Elevatori Magazine da anni partecipa
a Elevcon e lo promuove come rivista
media partner.
Anche quest’anno, come nelle scorse edizioni,
Elevatori Magazine lavorerà con una giuria di
esperti, durante i tre giorni di convegno, per la
premiazione dell’elaborato più all’avanguardia
che sarà premiato con la consegna dell’‘High
Tech Award Elevatori-Elevcon’. È quindi
anche per noi un pacere che i lettori apprezzino
i contenuti di questo convegno, che non
mancheremo di affrontare più approfonditamente
sui prossimi numeri della nostra rivista.
Riguardo alle novità tecnologiche, sono
d’accordo con la sua analisi. Anche per questo
motivo, la redazione sta lavorando a un nuovo
volume della collana Come funziona, che si
occuperà proprio di digitalizzazione, perché è da
qui che stanno arrivando e arriveranno ancora
molte delle novità più significative per il nostro
settore.
