since 1994. From april 2009 to august 2010, he<br />

was divisional head of planning & Controlling at<br />

MeTRo aG, and until December 2011 Chief Financial<br />

officer at Metro Cash & Carry europe/Mena. Mark<br />

Frese, who holds a degree in economics, was appointed<br />

Chief Financial officer of MeTRo aG on 1 January<br />

2012 and is appointed until 31 December 2014.<br />

netherlands, in 1961. Muller, who holds a degree in<br />

economics and business studies, has held various<br />

management positions in different MeTRo GRoUp<br />

companies since 1997. From 2005 to 2006 he was<br />

General Manager at MeTRo aG. He was appointed to<br />

the Management Board in august 2006 and has been<br />

Ceo of Metro Cash & Carry since 2008, with responsibility<br />

for the asia/CIs/new Markets business unit since<br />

april 2008 and responsibility for the europe/Mena<br />

business unit since January 2012. Frans W. H. Muller<br />
