7.6 Service Provider Registration<br />

7.6.2 Registration Requirements for Type I TPPs<br />

A TPP that the Corporation designates as a Type I TPP, upon receiving<br />

notification of such designation, must apply to be registered by the Corporation<br />

as a Type I TPP and must be registered by the Corporation as a Type I TPP<br />

before commencing to provide TPP Program Service. A Type I TPP that<br />

also wishes to provide ISO Program Service to one or more Customers must<br />

be distinctly proposed to the Corporation or a Service Provider Registration<br />

Facilitator for registration by each Customer wishing to receive ISO Program<br />

Service from that Type I TPP.<br />

Post-registration by the Corporation of a Type I TPP, on a quarterly basis, the<br />

applicable fee is charged by the Corporation directly to the Type I TPP. Renewal<br />

of Type I TPP registration status is at the sole discretion of the Corporation.<br />

7.6.3 Registration Requirements for Type III TPPs<br />

7.6.4 Registration of a Service Provider Registration Facilitator<br />

A Customer itself must request that a person be registered by the Corporation<br />

as a Service Provider Registration Facilitator (SPRF) and a person must be<br />

registered by the Corporation as an SPRF before commencing to provide Service<br />

Provider registration Program Service.<br />

7.6.5 Service Provider Registration Noncompliance<br />

A Principal and Association that fails to comply with these Service Provider<br />

registration requirements, including the failure to complete a Service Provider<br />

registration within 60 days as set forth in Rule 7.6.1, is subject to noncompliance<br />

assessments of up to USD 25,000 for each 30-day period of noncompliance.<br />

7.6.6 Prohibition from Acting as a Service Provider<br />

The Corporation reserves the right to prohibit, either for a fixed period of time<br />

or permanently, a Service Provider, its owners, officers, and/or employees from<br />

performing Program Service or acting as a DSE or both.<br />
